The Wake Forest Ale house is a blast! Come out the last Saturday of each month. We always have a great time getting loose and dancing to everything from every genre. Of course we had several tributes to MJ, lots of old school and the house favorite “Copperhead Road”. Petey Pablo stopped by for a couple hours and got the crowd fired up. I had to throw on “Raise Up” and of course everyone went nuts! I can’t wait ‘til next month!

I played Sean and Leslie’s reception Friday night at the Durham Armory. What a fun group! After the bride and groom arrived in the antique car, I introduced them and they went right into their first dance to “The Book Of Love” by Peter Gabriel. They didn’t waste any time getting on the floor dancing and partying for hours. Sean’s sister gave one of the best toasts I have heard in a while. Personal and heartfelt, but hilarious! Great couple and great families! Good luck guys!

Jon & Mollie’s wedding reception was awesome last night! We were out at the Hidden Haven Farm in Apex. What a beautiful backdrop to a beautiful couple. Everyone lounged on the pool deck until it cooled down, then it was time for dancing. The newlyweds danced to “Wonderful Tonight” and Mollie and Dad danced to “I loved her first.” It was special. We danced the night away out on the pool deck, then Jon got thrown into the pool, shirt and tie and all. Next thing you know, there where a bunch of people in the pool in their clothes. It was awesome! Awesome couple, great venue!
