Jimmy & Vanessa’s Going away celebration was awesome. Everyone who has been a part of their ministries, gave their thanks, and even relived some old memories. Of course there was a live performance by the old crew and several people shared their love for them. I know they will be missed greatly, even though they aren’t going very far away.

The Umbono Project Charity ball was awesome! It was at Delightful Inspirations in Raleigh, what a great location and food. Terrance Rose is such an anointed evangelist. He gave a great speech to open things up after dinner, then David Crabtree (WRAL) took over as the auctioneer. He did a fabulous job and really engaged the bidders and helped raise over $10K for the Umbono Project. We had several great raffle prizes through the evening and after the auction the Take The Lead Dance Troop hit the dance floor showcasing different styles of ballroom dancing. Then everyone got out to the dance floor to close out the evening. Very successful fundraiser for a great charity!
