Tara & Ryan's Wedding Reception - October 24, 2009 Tara & Ryan’s Wedding Reception was so much fun at the Croasdaile Country Club in Durham! The ceremony was beautiful, especially when the bride came down the aisle to “Time” by Enya.
After the declaration, the bridal party and guests left the ceremony to “Beautiful Day” by U2. During cocktail
hour, the bridal party had their own private dance party in the reception room, and then they went to their private room while
the guests got seated. The toasts and then the first dance followed the introductions. After dinner and Tara and Ryan danced
with Dad and Mom, the dance floor erupted. We kept the guests and bridal party going until it was time to cut the cake. Everyone
enjoyed the cake then got back to the dance floor. We finished up the night with the bride and her girls singing “Time
Of My Life” and “Summer Nights”. What a great night with fun families.

Couture For A Cause Fashion Show - October 23, 2009 The Couture For A Cause fashion show for ME3 was awesome! There was a huge turnout, and we got to spotlight several great local charities as well as local designers.
The models had a blast showing off the dresses on the runway. I had a lot of fun engaging the crowd while auctioning off the
dresses. I think we exceeded everyone’s expectations and we raised a lot for ME3 and their partner charities. News 14
Carolina was there to cover the event as well. Can’t wait until next year!

Laura & Jason's Wedding Reception - October 17, 2009 Laura & Jason’s reception at the Brownstone in Raleigh was the best! We kicked things into action right away; following the introductions, the newlyweds danced
to “That’s All” by Mel Torme, Laura and Dad danced to “My Girl” and Jason and Mom Danced to
“What A Wonderful World”. The Brownstone crew did a great job of keeping things moving through the meal, then
we toasted. First the father of the bride shared some kind words, and then the grooms’ two brothers roasted the groom.
Immediately following the toasts, the dance floor lit on fire! We had to shoo them off so we could go cut the cake! So many
old school favorites, even had the “soul train” line going for a minute. We finished the night of with “Crazy
Love” by Van Morrison and the crowd went to the front door to send off the new couple with sparklers and cheers.

Micahel & Britney Wedding Reception - October 10, 2009 Michael and Britney’s’ reception was so much fun! It was held at the
clubhouse in Wessex in Cary. The reception started off with the wedding party introductions and dinner, then the brides little
brother sang for their first dance. Britney and Dad had some fun dancing to their song, “My Girl” by the Temptations.
Michael and Mom danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts, and then we cleared the dance floor for the cake cutting.
After the fake exit everyone came back inside and lit up the dance floor. We kept the party going all night. Wild music selection,
Britney and a guest did the Thriller dance; we played a lot of favorites, but ended up with a few Metallica songs, that the
bride requested! The photographer, Jamie Lackey, did a fabulous job and caught a lot of great moments. What a great night!

Cary Chamber of Commerce Member Appreciation Party - October 1, 2009 The Annual Cary Chamber of Commerce member appreciation party is always so much fun. Howard, Delancy and the rest of the chamber crew always know how to
throw a great party! We got a few people to loosen up and dance for a bit, then we gave away a whole host of awesome door
prizes. It is hard to give away such good stuff! Can’t wait until next year’s party!

Apex Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet - September 29, 2009The Apex
Chamber Banquet
was truly a class act at the Prestonwood
Grand Ballroom. We started
off the evening with some networking and mingling while the buffet got started. There was a phenomenal performance by an Apex
Middle 8th grader singing the National Anthem to start the festivities. The awards ceremony proceeded
after that and the well deserving recipients received their award to a comical song that pertained to their business. The
night was capped off by a live auction by town favorite J.C. Knowles. He kept the crowd in stitches, and bidding! What a night!
