Kara & Caleb Wedding Reception - July 10, 2010

Kara & Caleb celebrated their wedding at the Hilton Mansion on the Hill. This group knows how to party. I introduced the bridal party to “Bring ‘Em Out” by T.I. and then the bride and groom had their first dance to “ Feels Like Home” by Chantal Kreviazuk. They had been taking lessons and had a very special choreographed dance, they executed perfectly!! The buffet line got going after Kara danced with Dad and Caleb danced with mom. Dinner had barely started when their parents got out on the dance floor, shaking their groove thang. The only time the dance floor was empty after that was for the cake cutting and the toasts. We partied until after 1 in the morning!

Dorothy & Erik Wedding Ceremony & Reception - July 4, 2010

Dorothy & Erik’s ceremony & reception were awesome! The Hilton mansion on the hill in RTP was a great location. As the guests arrived, the sun was going down, providing a beautiful sunset backdrop for the ceremony. The guests all got seated and the wedding party was introduced to the Austin Powers theme song, and they went right into their first dance. Dorothy and her Dad and Erik and his Mom danced to Bobby Darin’s’ “Beyond the sea” together, then the dancing began. The dance floor was crazy packed all night, with the only break to cut the cake. They really liked the old school and 80’s, which kept them wound up until catering manager told us we had to stop! What a party crowd!

Kelly & Jeremy Wedding Reception - July 3, 2010

The Duplin County Winery was the setting for Kelly & Jeremy’s reception. It was so beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the crew at the winery did a fantastic job getting everything prepared and making everything seamless throughout the night. After the guests all arrived and got settled in, the bridal party arrived, and they were so charged and ready to take over the room. After the introductions, the bride and groom shared their first dance to “Brightest,” by Copeland. Kelly danced with Dad, then Jeremy danced with Mom. The Wedding Party dance was awesome! They did a quick fake-out starting with some Jack Johnson, then Kelly and Jeremy broke out into a choreographed dance to “In My Head” by Jason Derulo. They finished up the wedding party dance and then everyone else joined them and kept the dance floor going. The next surprise was absolutely amazing. The videographers, Life Stage Films did a same day edit of the whole day of getting ready, the ceremony and even the first dance. The video was so sweet and was a big hit! Kelly and Jeremy cut the cake after 2 very heartfelt toasts. The dance floor was open again after the garter and bouquet toss, and didn’t stop until late in the night. The bride and groom even showed everyone their “stanky legs.” What an awesome couple and a great reception!!
