What a perfect afternoon for Jacob & Krysti’s ceremony & reception at the Doubletree in Durham. The sun setting over the lake was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. Once the newlyweds go tall the pictures by the lake, it was time for the introductions. The guys came in to the theme from Rocky, the girls cm in to “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls, and Jacob & Krysti came in to “We Found Love” by Rihanna. The crowd was pumped for the rest of the night. After dinner and the formal dances, everyone got out on the floor and partied all night. It was a great night with two great families! 

Daniel & Julie’s Afternoon reception was an old school party for sure!! These two are sure such a great match. For the first dance, they danced to “Unchained Melody” but only for a a minute. Julie had been taking bollywood lessons, and actually taught Dan a choreographed dance. I must say they pulled it off! It was awesome!! The dance floor was rockin’ all afternoon to all the old school hits. The staff at Cafe Luna did a great job as usual I had so much fun with this crowd, it was definitely over too soon.

Another awesome wedding at the beach!! I really enjoyed celebrating with Tyler & Amy at the Crystal Coast Country Club. It was a little hot, but that didn’t stop this awesome couple from braving the heat and a possible storm to have their ceremony outside. The ceremony was very elegant, and right after, everyone relaxed on the patio outside the club. Tyler & Amy got a few more pictures, then it was time to come inside. The new couple danced to a special video mix with “A wink and a smile” by Harry Connick Jr. in the background. During dinner we had an entire air band performance by the groomsmen to “Don’t stop believin’”, absolutely classic. It didn’t take long after that for the dance floor to erupt. Everyone got up and danced, and the excellent catering staff had the tables cleared and ready for cake before anyone even noticed. We gave the dance floor a break for a minute and cut the cake, and had to touching toasts by the best man and maid of honor. Right before the newlyweds had to hit the road back to Raleigh to catch their flight, we did the garter & bouquet. Everyone joined them outside for a tunnel of bubbles leading them to their car, and off they went!!

Alec & Jessica’s big day started out at the beautiful Duke Gardens with a touching ceremony. After the nuptials, everyone headed to Jimmy V’s for the reception. After the intros the newlyweds danced to “If my heart was a house” by Owl City. They had definitely been practicing, as it was perfect!! Once dinner was finished both father of the Bride & Groom had special toasts, then the groom gave a memorable toast to his families and his bride. Then it was time to dance, they couldn’t stop dancing all night. We closed the night out to “Down” by Jay Sean. What a blessed couple.
